Hey, Omg it seems like only yesterday I was sat on that stage listening to everyones memories of Kinson, although I only joined half way through year 5 I really honestly feel that Kinson Primary is a really great school. Before I went to Kinson I was always in the bottom classes because I never really had the confidence to show that I had the potential to be better then that but Kinson primary helped me to realise that I had that potential and since then I'm now an A / B grade student with 4 and 1/2 GCSE's at the age of 15 and still plenty more exams to take lol. I wanna say a BIG thank you to all my teachers that had me back what nearly 5 years ago now. OMG is it that long lol sorry if i've just made u all feel rather old lol.

Anyway like I said big thanks to all those teachers and like Mrs Jones said to me before I left the world is ur oyster so good luck to all those year 5 and 6's and seriously secondary school isn't as bad as everyone makes out :)

Last night we held a fundraising Bingo evening to raise monies for our summer school trip. It was a super evening made especially possible by Faye L and Kate B who worked tirelessly to make the evening a great success. Many thanks also to Mrs.Smith and all the other helpers; parents who participated, donated prizes and supported us. Well done to everyone involved. The children are really excited about their trip and you've made it possible.

I would just like to express my thanks to our wonderful PFA Team for all their help on Saturday at the Christmas Fayre and in the preparation of this event - a job well done. Also to all the staff and children that also came along and helped on the day and to the families that supported us by coming along and joining in all the fun. I would appreciate any feedback that anyone may have. Many thanks. Kerry Grineau - PFA Chair

I would just like to say a great big thank you to all of those who gave me cards, flowers and presents to mark my retirement. I am wiriting this on Sunday 3rd August and I don't really think that the fact that I have retired will hit me until the 3rd September when the children start back at school. Good luck for the new term.

I would just like to express my thanks to all those that helped out or supported at the Summer Fayre on Saturday. Lots of thing were against us in the final weeks; none moreso than the weather forcing us into a final hour change around, whereby we had to eliminate using the school field due to the fact a small lake was apparent and I am sure I even spotted a duck!! :D
Although we had to squeeze our carbooters into the playgrounds, and the stalls in the school hall. On the day the sun shone for us and the crowds were upon us... the majorettes, dancers and band entertained us during the afternoon and a fab time was had by all.... We took approximately £1400 which equates to about £1000 profit once all our outgoings are taken into account... a truly tremendous amount to be added to the PFA coffers. WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! What an achievement!

I would just like to pass comment on the wonderful performance that I had the pleasure of watching last week... The Aztecs. I was overwhelmed by the professionalism of the children, their stage presence and the confidence in which they performed this truly great production.. it was educational, humourous, colourful, creative and the music and songs were truly fabulous as well as the colourful costumes. A BIG congratulations to all the staff and children who must have worked so hard to put this production together, it was truly wonderful and showed what a great bunch of truly talented, mature and confident children we have at Kinson School.... you are all a credit to us and make us very proud! WELL DONE!

Hello to everyone at Kinson School, present and past pupils.
I am trying to contact the pupils who left Kinson School back in 1970 with a view to organising a reunion locally. I'm 49 now so if you know of any past pupils of my age I would be pleased to hear from them.
My teachers were Mr Wilkins,Mr Tucker,Miss Oates,Mrs Redstone,Mrs Bruckshaw,Miss Collins,Mrs Gambia,Miss King and many more.
It's so nice to see that the school has its' own website and is growing from strength to strength. I remember my time there very fondly.

What a fantastic morning Kate Beveridge and I (along with many others) have just had watching the Hoity Toity Fairy. All you wonderful children should be so very proud of such an excellent performance, we enjoyed every minute and it has put me in the right frame of mind to come home and think about writing out my Christmas Cards!!! And a mince pie too - we were very spoilt!

A big well done too for all the hard work that went into putting together this Production - I am sure there were lots of you that were involved so I won't name any by name but you have been working so very hard - you know who you are and you have done yourselves proud.

WELL DONE - you are all fantastic and as I always tell everyone when I am discussing the school; I am so pleased to be involved with such a great bunch of children and watching them growing up, they are all lovely and a credit to the school..... fantastic.

We wish you all a very merry Christmas and hope 2008 brings you everything you wish for.... and more!

A BIG BIG Thank You to all those that supported the PFA by coming along in the awful weather on Saturday for the Christmas Fayre. As it stands we think we have raised about £1000 so WELL DONE to you you all! We hope you had a great time and would welcome any comments on what you liked best or ideas on what you would like to see at these events.

I would especially like to thank the PFA Team for all their hard work in putting on the events and all those staff and parents that helped out on the day on the stalls, slaving in the kitchen and setting up. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves - thank you!

My only disappointment was that there were not as many families coming along from the school as I would have hoped and expected but maybe you could come along next time - or as I have said before, let us know what would attract you to make an effort to come along to our events in the future - we would love for you to join in the fun.

Thanks and well done!

Kerry - PFA Secretary

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that supported the Kinson School PFA Fete and Carboot yesterday, either by attending, donating or giving up their Saturday to spend with us helping out - I would name you all but my memory is so bad! You know who you are and you are all fantastic! Without your help and support these events would be unable to go ahead, so you are very important to us.......

I had a fun time and hope everyone that came along had a great time too.

The sun was even shining down on us again - someone is definitely looking out for us in this respect; as they were at our carboots and the BBQ!!

Again - THANK YOU!

Dear Liz and all Staff,
Two months have already gone since I have finished my practical training at your school. Time goes so fast! I haven’t had the possibility to ask some German headteachers if they were interested in a partnership with Kinson Primary School yet, but I will as soon as possible.
Just want to say hallo to everybody! I’ll never forget the great experience you gave me.
Best wishes

I am so pleased that we have made an exciting link with a school from Andalucia in Spain. Our Modern Foreign Languages are going really well.
We also have established a link with Lavassaare in Estonia and look forward to building on this. Liz T.
