Dear all,
As I am writing this, according to Bournemouth Local Authorities teachers’ website there are only 18 days 14 hours 29 minutes and 40 seconds left until it’s the summer holiday. Don’t get me wrong , the teachers are not really eagerly crossing off the number of days but are realising there are only 12 school days left to do all the things we have to do before school closes for the holidays. We are all hoping the weather will remain fine especially for our Grand Summer Fair and Car Boot sale on Saturday 12th July at 12noon. A big thank you to Chris Addison for sponsoring the Grand Summer Draw and to the local tourist attractions who have donated entry tickets. I know Kerry and her team are extremely busy preparing for Saturday. If you are able to lend a hand please get in touch with Kerry Grineau.
Hopefully you all have received and read your child’s reports (I know Liz put up the flags and breathed a sigh of relief), and have read the enclosed letter explaining that if you wish to see your child’s teacher, teachers will be available next week for consultations. Please see individual teachers to arrange a time.
Unit 3 children and teachers have been busy rehearsing this week for their production ‘The Children Of the Sun’ There are still tickets available for Wednesday 9th July at 6pm and on Thursday 10th July at 9.10am. We hope you enjoy this brilliant production!
Just a reminder please could you ensure your child’s jumper, sun hat, and water bottled are labelled and could you please check that your child has come home with the correct jumper.
Time is racing on and I need to get out to the Infant Sports Day - a special thanks to Mrs. Taylor, her team and the weather!
Have a super weekend!
Mrs Sue Jones
Deputy Headteacher
