19 Sep 2008 - Newsletter 2
Dear Parents & Carers,
The children have settled beautifully into the routines of their new classes and we are very pleased with the level of independence that they are now showing. I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that in order for staff to start the school day promptly at
9 o’clock, the register needs to be completed (electronically) at 8:55 am. Therefore we would ask you to say goodbye to your children (Y1-Y6) before they join their line to come into school.
As mentioned above registers are now done electronically in the classrooms and forwarded to the office. Class teachers will be unable to receive children through the outer classroom/ corridor doors, therefore any children arriving after 8:55 am will need to be brought into school via the office. Please could you pass this information onto family, friends or child minders who may be bringing or picking your children up and remind them that anyone including parents/visitors must come in through the main entrance via the office.
We thank you for your co-operation regarding this.
Hope you all have a super weekend,
Sue Jones
