All About Kinson Primary School
Dear Website Browser
I am so pleased to welcome you to this Kinson Site.
Kinson is a very caring and friendly school that values all of those children and adults who work and learn here. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Kinson Primary School.
We have a very long history as a school, but not on this site. The original school was built on Kinson Village Green.Kinson was the first National school in Bournemouth and an inscribed foundation stone is dated 1836. This is on display in the main corridor.

Kinson Primary School Mascot
will help us to remember the
KINSON HIGH FIVES
Each week a child from every class is presented during assembly with a Cheerful Chloe Mascot for achieving one of the Kinson High Fives. The mascot displaying the child's name is placed in Cheerful Chloe's Tree House located in the main entrance hall for a week so that we can all see it and admire it. The following week the child can take it home.
Our School Operates a House System
Each child, family of children become members of one of our four Houses upon entry to the school. They are awarded house points, some of which are linked to certificates for attainment.
Each week the points are collected and counted by the House Captains.
Houses are named after people linked to the history of Kinson and our school.
