A message from our Headteacher, Liz Thomasson, shown here standing by our Golden Apple Tree.
Dear Website Browser I am so pleased to welcome you to this Kinson Site. Kinson is a very caring and friendly school that values all of those children and adults who work and learn here. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Kinson Primary School. We have a very long history as a school, but not on this site. The original school was built on Kinson Village Green.Kinson was the first National school in Bournemouth and an inscribed foundation stone is dated 1836. This is on display in the main corridor.

Each week a child from every class is chosen to be given a golden apple for consistently good behaviour, and after receiving the apple during asembly time, puts it on the tree. The apple with the child's name stays on the tree in the main entrance hall for a week so that all can see it and the following week the child can take it home.
